Vision & Values
My name is Suzanne Bôt, and I am a dynamic "repat" (repatriate) from France and the United Kingdom. In 2020, I decided to return to Cameroon to invest in the wood industry. My journey has been both challenging and fulfilling. I started by selling wood planks in the market in Douala, the economic capital of Cameroon. It was a humble but exciting beginning. Later, I became a local wood supplier, working with various sustainable communal forests. Currently, our focus is on exporting wood, with our wonderful team and in partnership with So Africa Wood (UK) Ltd managing a forest, and establishing a sawmill. Our next venture is to produce and sell pellets.
I am passionate about making a positive impact on the community by training young people and supporting families through our small charity, HOLA NDAP, which also helps with school fees.
I am a true lover of the forest and always prioritize environmental sustainability.
